There are hundreds of communications-related tradeshows worldwide. Choosing which ones to attend is important so as not to waste time, money or carbon. This year, the messaggio staff, in light of its expanding television activity, chose to travel to Amsterdam to visit the IBC 10 to 15 September 2009.

IBC is committed to staging the world’s best event for professionals involved in content creation, management and delivery. Their key values are quality, efficiency, innovation, and respect for the industry we serve. IBC2008 attracted 49,000+ visitors and 1,300+ exhibitors from more than 130 countries., the best results IBC has ever had. 2009 is looking just as good.
IBC brings the industry together to learn, discuss and promote the current and future developments that are shaping the media world through a highly respected peer-reviewed conference, a comprehensive exhibition, demonstrations of and interaction with cutting edge technologies, and networking opportunities in a professional and supportive environment.

messaggio studios' staff was particularly interested in two fields: digital signage and high-definition mobile studios.

The digital signage interest lies in the increasing demand for high-impact displays. Our recent work with ILO's Decent Work Campaign in world-class airports such as Geneva, are a prime example.

Interest in high-definition mobile studios is spurred by both our new causing change media initiative and by growing client demand for remote studio capacity.
