Re-designed World YWCA website launched!

World YWCA homepage

messaggio studios web team have managed the World YWCA website for 4 years now and were very proud to be asked to take on the challenge of entirely redesigning the site. The redesign includes several new functionalities making it more ergonomic and transforming it into a ‘live’ website. As well as having a new “look” the World YWCA website now includes advanced functions linking related articles by keywords, secure links to make online donations, in addition to a googlemaps feature showing locations of YWCAs worldwide.

mondofragilis group companies have a longstanding history working with the World Young Women’s Christian Association, a global network of women leading social and economic change. The World YWCA upholds strong values that include volunteerism, diversity, inclusiveness, accountability and integrity. YWCA social action motivates women around the world to give through volunteerism and resources to improve lives and communities.

messaggio studios have been privileged to also help manage the content of the website over the years. Now control of content management belongs to the World YWCA’s staff entirely. With training from messaggio studios’ web team, using eZ publish the YWCA staff can now independently update and maintain the content on their site. eZ publish is a user-friendly content management system that also allows for multiple-users which means different members of staff can access the back-end of the website.

The result is another success for messaggio studios and yet another happy client:

“It’s been a real pleasure working with your team on the new website. Thibaut has been just great. Very patient and quick to respond to all my requests. The functionality is great. And everyone loves our new website! ”

Kaburo Kobia, Communications Director, World YWCA.

mondofragilis group is pleased to have worked on another global web project, broadening the reach of those causing change.
